DeWayne, Kyros, you told Angel Benton how you worked hard last spring to post your pix and video on MySpace, X tube, Q Peeps and the like and it worked. You promoted, pushed your name out to the producers and they noticed!”

What gave you the idea that “Guerrilla marketing” would work in Gay porn?

Kyros, “I sort of just anticipated its success down the line, and it paid off for me like a business investment in the end. By spamming the internet with my face I would target fan bases untapped by the porn industry itself, and then when the time was right and a fan base was independently built, I stepped out into gay porn and hit them with my first film, PZP Productions ‘Oliver Twink’ <3″

DeWayne, “You and Dillon embrace the concept ‘Twink.’ You proudly shout out, we are twink and lovin it! Last Century or even recently with Cobra Video, most Twink Gay porn has been the taste du jour of “cough cough” older gay men. You and Dillon have attracted a sizable, maybe even majority fan base of guys your age. Also female fans (Yes straight girls LOVE seeing you two fuck on camera). Kyros why do you think you and Dillon break the pattern and have grabbed a large diverse group of fans?”

Kyros, “I think that Dillon and I carry with us an aura of personality that is clearly evident in our physical appearances alone. It seems that almost in every step we take, we are breaking molds to some new kind of image or idea in the twink markets. We sort of look as if were the yin-and-yang of twink porn - a blond, angelic little twinky, and of course the polar opposite - the raggedy, punky, long haired, brunette.

My popularity through the use of adult social networking websites, Dillon’s already growing fan base with such popular studio productions like the global Helix Studios and the inspirational BoyCrush, my being the very first emo twink to ever step out into gay porn and my fond fancy for fetishes and weird freaky kink sex.

We monopolize off all of what we know in this world and use it as best we can to our advantage. Thus is the same for when we seek out to take & annex the twink market by integrating the emo punk scene and various other never-before-seen fetishes into the markets.”

Albert, “How did you two meet?”

Kyros, “We met in Las Vegas on the set of Afton Nills’ ‘Fuck that Twink.’ It was a pretty remarkable and surreal week for the both of us. Its where we both fell in love with one another. We hid our true feelings for a good month or so before finally spilling them out in confession.

That week in Vegas was just magical. We shared a room together at the wonderful Blue Moon Resort and shared the week together fucking our brains out and cuddling, shaving the others face every morning, showering together, and waking up next to one another the next morning to a kiss.

We see this often on sets though and thus like good little boys we sought to avoid catastrophe and decided to let things cool off. But instead of doing that, we started talking every day on the phone from the minute I stepped off the plane in NY and he called me. We both knew that we were working together in S. Florida for the filming of Oliver Twink. We knew each other even before meeting in Vegas, and spoke over the phone quite frequently until finally rendezvousing at Afton’s set at the Blue Moon. We spoke every night, from like 10pm to 9am the next morning. We both knew we had feelings for the other, we just made it so difficult to come to terms and finally confess our feelings for one another.

At Oliver Twink we made it official. Rushing off the plane to see Dillon and to finally be in his arms once again was intense. I took Dillon on our final evening together in South Florida to this real fancy restaurant overlooking the beach with an incredible Miami skyline in view. Then we laid together on the beach all night. It was incredible. We spent the entire evening before our departure from one another at the end of the filming of Oliver Twink that week crying in each others arms. It was then and there that we both knew it was a place neither of us ever wanted to ripped apart from.

A few weeks after that, he moved to Rochester to be with me. We have been side by side ever since. And every day is still magical =].”

Who were your early icons of porn?”

Kyros, “Oh were not telling this one !! That would make things weird for them - they would think they were old !!”

Albert, “What actor or actors would you most like to work with?”

Kyros, “mmm Not sure. We don’t really have our eyes set on anybody really.”

Albert, “You guys are doing some, should I say, more than ‘ordinary’ scenes. What scenes are in the can that we can expect to see in the near future?”

Kyros, “I have a 4.0 right now, Dillon has a 3.5.”

Albert, “Are you hoping to continue beyond the Bachelors level to a Masters or higher?”

Kyros, “Were going now for a degree in graphics. I don’t really know if either one of us cares to go for anything higher then what is required really.”

Albert, “Do the teachers or any students you are aware of, know about your adult work? How do they respond?”

Dillon, “Yeah, a lot of people know. Rochester is pretty huge with a gay population and Kyros has lived here his entire life. People definitely recognize us at almost every place we go to - its ridiculous at times. And every gay bar we step into we get called out for being gay porn stars!!”

Albert, “Have you ever gone out and had somebody recognize you? Was that good or bad?”

Kyros, “Everywhere. It could be a gas station, a convenience store, grocery store, a gay bar, where ever. A lot of times it gets weird. Most times its pretty cool though =].”

Albert, “Does your family or friends know about your video work and how have they reacted?”

Dillon, “Kyros’ family does. He’s pretty open and blunt about everything. They’ve all accepted me, and they know me and what I do as well. Dillon, “We haven’t been back to Vegas since we met there. Well be going back in the next few months to attain a civil union.”

Albert, “What kind of car do you drive?”

Albert, “Kyros, now its your turn. How did you come up with your first name ‘The Candy Spooky.’ Are you a fan of the musical group Candy Spooky or Candy Spooky Theater?

Kyros, “No, actually I cant stand that bands sound. The Candy Spooky is a name that was given to me by an old daddy, he he. He called me his Spooky Candy. So the name grew from there.

Albert, “Dillon is a Catholic but I cannot seem to fix a particular ideology on you. What prompted the name, Kyros Christian? (Kyros means Church or sometimes, ‘body of Christ.’ For those not current on Greek.)”

Kyros, “I don’t particularly care for religion and the antics that come with it. Its an ideology I refuse to believe in because it contradicts half the concepts of logic itself. I don’t believe in God, I don’t believe in anything but man for man, and reality for reality. We all have the potential to go anywhere we seek to go in life, there are just certain goals that need to be reached before achieving that state of success for ourselves. We are our own gods, entirely void of the constrictions the belief in the existence of God (I think anyways) seems to burden us with.

DeWayne, “Kyros do you see yourself doing a video for someone like Chi Chi LaRue?”

Kyros, “Hmmm. Chi Chi is quite the fabulous bitch so yeah it would be a pretty cool shoot to land. =]

I honestly have never met Chi Chi LaRue but have an immense respect for her. Somebody so passionate in a philosophy that preaches the absolute safety of others is somebody to be admired, regardless of their status as an individual who produces porn. DeWayne, “Does major studio work interest you at all or do you plan on concentrating on your own company and the new site?

Kyros, “I have been talking to several large company’s for over a year or two now. Just really biding my time, I guess - I’m not sure. I do porn to make a living and to save that money so that I can concentrate on our upcoming company and to pay for college and living. So I guess major studio work is well, welcomed =] Gotta make those bills he he.”

DeWayne, “You decided to enter gay porn the same month the most famous producer of the most well known studio for Twink Porn (Bryan Kocis) was murdered by two other Gay Escort/porn producers. I know you were very upset at the time. You and Bryan had been friends for years.”

Kyros, “I actually had no idea of Kocis’ fame in this industry until I came across a news report on the internet one day declaring his dead status. I was in absolute awe, completely dumb-struck, and I was entirely fascinated with his story from then on. I talked to Kocis for like a year and a half, and would talk to him once, maybe twice a week. He was totally chill, totally cool. He wasn’t narcissistic, he wasn’t a weirdo, he was entirely about fucking twinkys and me coming to model for him. But he also went to a college just up the street from where I lived at the time I knew him and he was honestly, very down to earth. Albert, “Bryan more or less introduced you to Porn. How old were you when you first had contact with Bryan?”

Albert, “Bryan had some charm. How would you describe his ability to communicate with you?”

Albert, “Yes Jason Sechrest published a very nice letter from Cameron Lane on his news desk shortly after Bryan’s death. Cameron said his experience with Bryan was a good one. I always liked Cameron’s on screen performances. He was one of the most expressive Cobra models. Bryan gave you a standing offer that if you needed money, you could do a film shoot. He was one of the best paying producers around. How much were you offered?”

Kyros, “He would push my coming to model for him like every few times we talked on the phone. He wanted me to come down to South PA for a week and film with him. He said he’d pull me in for a grand a scene, if I stayed modeling with him after my first time he would talk to me about the next time filming only next time would involve more numbers.”

Albert, “How did Bryan know what you looked like?”

Kyros, “He had seen pictures of me on my profile on AOL. Plus I had sent him pictures after that.”

Albert, “Bryan’s death was tragic. How did that affect you?”

Kyros, “It is singularly the thing that pushed me to enter into this industry. I grew morbidly fascinated with the circumstances shrouding his astonishing death. I was actually wondering why it didn’t receive near national coverage when it happened. Its seriously the story of the year. 28 fucking times?? Torched?? That’s just being an asshole now when you over-kill…. “

Albert, “From all that I can gather, he was a very good salesman. He also produced some of the most popular porn around at the time. Why didn’t you ever take him up on his offer?”

Kyros, “Initially, because I was underage. When I turned 18, I was just graduated from high school and still living with my folks. I had no excuse to give them and was NOT about to tell them way back then that I am off to film some gay porn for this dude I’ve been talking to for over a year on the internet. =].”
